Boating is, above all, about passion, sharing, and freedom. To celebrate Nauticoncept’s 10th anniversary, we’ve created a brand-new event: the Sea Show. For over a month, weekends turned into a true Mediterranean tour, connecting ports, partners, subscribers, and future boaters around a shared vision: making boating simpler, more accessible, and more flexible through Nauticoncept’s boat subscription and connected solutions.
From Sète to Villeneuve-Loubet, via Marseille, Bandol, Toulon, Fréjus, and Golfe-Juan, the Sea Show provided an opportunity to meet directly with the key players in the boating industry who keep the Nauticoncept and Liberty Pass networks running on a daily basis.
Following the success of the Kouign Amann Tour in Brittany the previous year, Nauticoncept wanted to mark its tenth anniversary with an event that reflected its growth in the Mediterranean.
The goal was simple: to meet with the partners who manage the Liberty Pass boats, talk with subscribers who use the service year-round, showcase the group’s innovations, and introduce new boaters to a modern alternative to traditional boat ownership.
In addition to Liberty Pass, this event also served as an opportunity to highlight other solutions developed by Nauticoncept, including connected devices and Plaizance, the connected concierge service designed for the boating industry.
The Sea Show began on April 20 in Sète and concluded on May 31 in Cogolin.
Sète and Leucate with SAS Grace
As the first stops on this Mediterranean adventure, Sète and Leucate provided the perfect setting to officially launch the Sea Show. The SAS Grace team welcomed visitors in a friendly atmosphere and organized the tour’s first sea trials aboard an Etap 37 S sailboat and a Bali 4.5.
Port Camargue at SPI with Lion Yachting
On May 1, we headed to Port Camargue, where Lion Yachting gave us a tour of its Hanse 370 on a Liberty Pass.
Marseille Pointe Rouge with Sud Plaisance
Marseille was a must-visit stop at Sud Plaisance, which currently offers 8 boats through the Liberty Pass program.
Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer with the Madrague Boat Club
This stage is the one that brought us the most subscribers (over 100 subscribers through this channel) as well as future subscribers.
Bandol with Locamer and Locasail
Bandol gave us the opportunity to highlight the benefits of boat sharing and answer visitors’ many questions.
Saint-Mandrier: A Promising Project
One of the major announcements at the Sea Show concerns Saint-Mandrier. This milestone has paved the way for a new partnership that is expected to join the Liberty Pass network soon.
Toulon with Blue Wave
In Toulon, discussions confirmed a shift in trends and a growing desire to streamline costs associated with recreational boating.
Fréjus with Sélestiboat
In Fréjus, visitors particularly enjoyed the demonstrations out at sea and the chance to meet a boat owner through Liberty Pass. Because Liberty Pass is much more than just a subscription—it’s about connections, a sense of community, and sharing.
Golfe-Juan with Mer Yachting
This stopover provided an opportunity to strengthen ties with local professionals while introducing the Liberty Pass program at Mer Yachting.
Villeneuve-Loubet with Nautic Evasion Nice
This event attracted particular attention thanks to the presence of BFM Côte d’Azur, which came to cover it report on the event and on the latest trends in boating.
Cogolin with Upscale Yachting and Trini Marine
At the final stop of the Sea Show, Upscale Yachting showcased its Sea Loft 480 in Liberty Pass—one of the most talked-about new models of the tour—and attendees were invited on board for a Burgundy wine tasting.
One of the most memorable moments of the Sea Show is undoubtedly the many spontaneous testimonials from Liberty Pass subscribers.
Wherever the Sea Show stopped, subscribers came to meet the teams and share their experiences.
One topic came up time and again in the discussions: the availability of boats.
This is a common question among prospective members, and the best answers often come from the users themselves. The feedback gathered during the event largely confirmed that the system in place allows for a smooth and consistent experience when using the boats. This is thanks both to the tokens and to the sense of community fostered among members, who share the boats under the best possible conditions!
Subscribers also mention the elimination of the burdens associated with ownership: maintenance, insurance, mooring, winter storage, and administrative tasks.
The Sea Show also provided an opportunity for numerous discussions with boat owners in the network.
According to Romuald Poirot, CEO of Nauticoncept:
“More and more boat owners are choosing to maximize the value of their boats through all-inclusive sharing and subscription solutions. This approach meets the evolving needs of boaters while optimizing boat utilization.”
This trend confirms the market's shift toward more flexible and sustainable models.
For many boat owners, the Liberty Pass model now offers an effective solution for reducing periods of inactivity while increasing the profitability of their boat.
The Sea Show also provided an opportunity to introduce Plaizance to the partners present throughout the event.
This smart concierge solution is designed to simplify the day-to-day management of boats using smart tools that have been tested and proven over the past 10 years.
Feedback from industry professionals has been particularly positive, confirming the growing interest in technologies that facilitate the operation and maintenance of these units.
Beyond the miles traveled, the Sea Show was above all an opportunity to build connections.
The teams met with satisfied subscribers, prospective boaters eager to learn more about the concept, boat owners interested in sharing solutions, and partners who are increasingly involved in the network’s development.
The launch of new projects, such as the one in Saint-Mandrier, also underscores the growth momentum of the Liberty Pass network in the Mediterranean.
As Nicolas Wolff puts it:
“The Sea Show confirmed that demand for flexible, no-strings-attached boat subscriptions continues to grow throughout the Mediterranean.”
One thing is certain: after the Kouign Amann Tour in Brittany and this Sea Show in the Mediterranean, the adventure is just beginning!
In fact, since we didn’t want it to end, we’ve added three more dates at the end of June 2026: June 26 in Sainte-Maxime, June 27 at noon in Saint-Mandrier, and June 27 in the early evening in Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer.
