To achieve this, we've put in place a number of rules and tricks.
First of all, we limit the number of unlimited subscribers to 6, and almost all our boats are available all year round (excluding annual maintenance). Depending on the zone, this represents between 600 and 900 available slots to share per year.
Secondly, thanks to our technology, boats can be booked by the hour. It is therefore possible for several subscribers to use the same time slot. For example, a fisherman may decide to go out from 5am to 9am, and the boat will be available from 9:30am for another subscriber for the rest of the morning. This multiplies the number of slots available to subscribers, and it's not unusual for our boats to be out 3 or 4 times a day with different subscribers.
Finally, we've implemented a token policy to limit the number of slots a subscriber can block, allowing other subscribers to still be able to fit into the schedule. For example, if you have two tokens available with your subscription, you can reserve two slots, which often correspond to two half-days. You can therefore reserve two half-days on different dates or one full day.
You collect your token at the start of the outing in question and can then book your next outing for the following days.
This technique, which has been tried and tested over the past 3 years, ensures smooth scheduling and equal access to the boat for all, and in no way limits the number of outings possible per subscriber.
The token system is a very fair system for each member of a boat. It allows each subscriber to block reservation slots.
The fact that tokens are limited in number for each subscriber guarantees availability at all times. E.g.: like the other members, you have 2 reservation tokens. If there are 6 members on the boat, you can have up to 12 slots blocked on the schedule, but no more, because as long as your tokens have not been used up, it is not possible to place others. The same applies to other subscribers.
The mobile app only reallocates tokens once you've used up your outing. This system guarantees fairness for every member! And there's no possibility of abuse of reservations by one member or another.
No, it is not possible to pay the advertised monthly subscription rate. The monthly rate is valid for a full year. This is a payment option that requires a minimum 12-month commitment.
For legal reasons, mainly related to insurance, the contract is nominative in a classic subscription.
The boat captain is responsible for the boat under the contract, and must be on board for every trip. However, you can take as many people (friends or family) as the boat's capacity allows.
On the other hand, if you choose the Duo offer , you can share your subscription with another independent captain and in this case only, yes, the subscription is shared between two people, and both people are covered by insurance.
There is a maximum of 6 Liberty Pass subscribers per boat. Exceptional cases, à la carte, can optimize the use of the boat.
Most of our subscriptions are daily. However, we have a few subscriptions for cabins, sailboats, catamarans, and cabins that allow you to sail for 1 to 14 consecutive nights at sea, depending on the subscription you have purchased.
At present, it is not possible to surf everywhere in France with your subscription.
However, we do offer "à la carte" subscriptions, and if you are a Liberty Pass holder in a particular city, we can offer you "à la carte" outings at a very attractive rate to a resort that is a recurring destination for you.
No, the tank is filled up when you take the boat, so you must fill it up
each time you return to port, at your own expense.
You book your excursions via a mobile app from your smartphone. You have visibility into available slots and can place your reservation tokens on the boat's schedule via the mobile app.
You are independent for check-in and check-out of the boat thanks to the mobile application on your phone and a key box.
You will be required to take photos of the condition of the boat, the fuel, and note any anomalies on the boat, upon departure and upon return of the boat.
You'll be accompanied by a coach, your contact for the duration of your subscription. The boat handling coaching involves introducing you to the boat in every detail, performing the maneuvers for entering and exiting the port, and ensuring you're comfortable enough to leave the boat alone.
The coach is also your point of contact in the event of weather or technical issues.
This subscription is profitable from the moment you go out 7 to 8 times MINIMUM per year. From this moment on, you are a winner because you save on each outing, compared to traditional rental. You have no boat purchase to plan, no insurance, no berth to find or pay for, no maintenance or possible towing. You sail year-round at a price often equivalent to that of the berth with complete peace of mind. You save time, energy and money.
That's right, you can sign your quote. Your place on the boat is thus reserved, until the Liberty Coach validates it on your first outing. On the day of your first outing, the Liberty Coach will confirm your subscription by signing the contract.
No, not once you've signed your contract. Your rate remains unchanged during your subscription period.
Whether you sail 10, 20 or 30 times a year or more, your monthly and therefore annual fee remains unchanged.
This is a monthly direct debit.
To cancel your subscription at the end of the 12-month commitment period, simply send a cancellation letter by registered mail with acknowledgement of receipt, 90 days before the end of your subscription:
to the following address:
Nauticoncept - Liberty Pass - 551 Rue Alain Colas, 71000 Mâcon
Yes, depending on the size of the boat, a deposit is required at the start of the subscription.
In the event of a claim, the deposit cheque is used to pay the deductible and other costs not covered by the insurance according to the specific GCU.
Yes, your coach takes out a multi-risk insurance policy for your boat all year round.
No, boat towing is never your responsibility. It is covered by the operator's insurance. In the event of a claim, contact your coach as soon as possible.
Boat insurance is subject to a deductible, the amount of which is set out in the specific terms and conditions of the subscription contract. The subscriber will be liable for the amount of this deductible and other costs not covered by the insurance, stipulated in the specific GCU for items below the waterline (e.g. propeller, fender, etc.).
In the case of minor damage, it's not a good idea to declare the damage to the insurance company, especially in view of the administrative costs involved. An amicable solution will therefore be favored between the subscriber and the professional. This includes loss of parts of the boat (upholstery, fender buoys, anchor, etc.).
